For a minute, I thought Kulin was the only town to host an amazing golf course that was worth playing. Imagine my surprise to find something very similar. In fact, this one just was a little better than Kulin as it has a hole on the green! How I wished I had a club now!!! Don’t worry – I have already contacted GolfLab to find out if they could make a club for these types of trips.
Kondinin Golf Course had a whole lot more going for it than at first glance. Beside having a hole, it had oil greens. Putting on oil green means the ball will run a little faster. Not entirely sure if the ball would say true to the line…this course is on my ‘to do list’.
The tees were made from artificial turf, the fairways were probably the same as Kulin, but this course had a practice putting green! HOW COOL!
Luckily for me, I found a very broken ball in the rough….! I could only imagine a putt …. which is one step closer to playing a course like this!
There are 18 holes on this course, with cost of playing 18 holes only $3.00. However, with the club house closed, I could not find a honesty box anywhere! So I am unsure where you would deposit the money. Needless to say – this course really looks like fun. I am already thinking – a Golfing Duo?
TIPS to Playing Kondinin Golf Course:
- Definitely Second Hand Clubs. I am thinking probably a driver, an iron and a putter.
- Golf Balls that are easily seen in yellow grass.
- Watch out for long brown creatures – known as snakes
- Take water with you.
- I would suggest that score would not be a high list of priorities. Just enjoy the adventure!
