The Hillary’s Harbour Fun Fair has operated for over 20 years. It is synonymous for Summer months with the opportunity to enjoy an evening ‘Fun Ride’ to add a little more adventure to one’s life.
I have meant to try out these rides for a while. Like many, I have walked past this adventure, promising that the next visit I will give them a go. However, on this particular day I decided that it was either now or never. After all ~ adventure is my second name!
My first choice was the Super Nova. It was a perfect name for one of my passions ~ SPACE and the World’s beyond this one! One of the things I love about rides like this is the G-Force you can experience. Of course, if I could have a choice I would make it go faster. However, for the average person, this rides goes the perfect speed and the experience is amazing.
My second choice was the Super Sizzler. With tea-cups moving at speed towards each other sends a sense of excitement that leads to complete thrill and enjoyment.
Notably, like many fun fairs, there is also a kiosk where you can win prizes. I am never very lucky with things like this but there is still a lot of fun giving it a go.
Hillary’s Harbour Fun Fair is open everyday until 29 January 2017. After this, they are open every weekend until April 2017. However, it would be best to check their Facebook page for more details.
Prices for rides are competitive. I remember paying $10.00 a ride at the Perth Royal Show two years ago, and thought that was a bit pricey. For $9.00, I could have the same ride experience and with the $50.00 family special meant I could save a lot more.
If you are in this area up until April 2017, then this would be well worth the experience. With shops and swim areas in close proximity means you could make this adventure a whole day experience.
